Vintage John Reubens Large Blue Glass and Faux Pearl Brooch

This listing is for a spectacular 1990s brooch by John Reubens who is known for his statement pieces. And this one is no exception. It is quite heavy at nearly 4 ounces and quite large at 2 1/2" in diameter and 1" deep. The uniquely shaped sapphire blue glass beads are gorgeous and sit upon gold tone filigree. At the center is a bright white faux pearl. It is in excellent condition. A very special piece by a contemporary American designer.
