Vintage 1940s Unsigned Staret Gold Tone Multicolor Rhinestone Brooch 3 3/4"

This listing is for a beautiful vintage butterfly brooch from the 1940s. The design has been attributed to the House of Schrager, a costume jewelry company founded in 1925, but the brooch was sold by Staret. It is quite a statement piece measuring 3 3/4" wide and 3" high and weighing 48 grams. The large, colorful, foil-backed stones are gorgeous and the clear stones are sparkling. There is one missing clear stone which you can see in the last photo; the clasp is secure. A beautiful, iconic piece!

Staret, known as "Star" from 1922 to 1940, produced high quality jewelry until 1941.
