Vintage Laguna Double Strand Bermuda Blue Pagoda Crystal Necklace 22.5"

This listing is for a gorgeous and rare vintage necklace by Laguna. The double strand necklace measures 22.5" long and is adjustable. What makes this necklace so special are the Swarovski pagoda crystals in beautiful Bermuda Blue. Swarovski produced pagoda crystals, also known as "potato chip crystals" due to their curved shape, but discontinued them soon after in the 1950s. The unique shape made them very fragile leading to high production costs. This necklace is a beautiful example of their craftsmanship. The crystals do show a bit of wear on their reverse side and there are some tiny chips but as you can see from the photos, it still looks amazing!

Laguna produced beautiful jewelry in the United States from 1944 until 1980.
